About the RoleWe are seeking a
Senior Social SEO Manager with 4
+ years of recent, outcome-driven experience optimizing and ranking
positive brand content and
partner/influencer content across
social platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok) and
LLM-driven search interfaces (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and others).
In this high-impact role, you’ll sit at the intersection of product, content, and brand, working to shape how our brand is discovered and perceived in both traditional and emerging search environments. You’ll report directly to the
Group Product Manager, SEO and work cross-functionally with internal creatives, external partners, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategy and execution to rank brand-positive and partner content across social channels and LLM search interfaces.
- Provide expert, platform-specific SEO guidance to internal content teams and external creators to develop optimized, discoverable content.
- Drive initiatives across content optimization, link building, and on-site SEO to support full-funnel discoverability.
- Translate performance data into insights that inform continuous improvement, tracking ROI and impact on brand visibility.
- Stay current on SEO, social, and LLM search trends, turning emerging opportunities into scalable strategies.
- Conduct audits of branded content across platforms, identifying gaps and recommending actionable solutions.
- Create internal playbooks and documentation to scale SEO best practices across teams and partner organizations.
- Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to ensure alignment on SEO goals and integration into broader digital strategy.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of recent, quantitative, outcome-based SEO experience focused on social platforms and LLM/AI-powered search results.
- Social SEO on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter
- Google Search & AI Overview optimization
- Optimization strategies for LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)
- SEO fundamentals: content strategy, link building, on-site SEO
- Proven ability to guide creative teams with practical, informed SEO direction.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and align efforts to business objectives.
- Proficient in tools like Google Search Console, YouTube Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and social analytics platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly translate complex SEO concepts.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required, with preference for degrees in analytical or technical fields (e.g., Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics).
- Experience working in or alongside product teams, especially in tech or digital-first organizations.
- Familiarity with AI optimization, prompt engineering, and brand visibility in LLM search.

- Enhanced discoverability in AI-powered interfaces (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT).
- Measurable gains in brand sentiment and visibility driven by SEO-informed content.

We are proudly offering hybrid options in the Phoenix, AZ metro market as well in San Mateo, CA. This role can be hired remote in TX, NV, WA, FL, UT, ILHourly Range: $160,000 to $185,000 + bonus + benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role.
