Job Description & Summary: PwC Polska's Energy & Renewables team is comprised of experts and enthusiasts in the energy sector, primarily focusing on renewable energy sources. We provide comprehensive business consulting in energy and related topics. Our clients include companies from the energy sector, large corporate and industrial electricity consumers, investment funds, banks, and OZE investors/developers. We implement projects thematically related to renewable energy, decarbonization, energy storage, energy trading, and other new associated markets such as electric vehicles, hydrogen, and the circular economy. Within these areas, we deliver strategic, transactional (M&A), and analytical services. We work for clients in Poland and other Central and Eastern European countries. By joining us, you will work on the most important events in the sector, with example projects including transactional advisory for the sale of a photovoltaic project portfolio, transactional advisory for the sale of an OZE developer, advisory for Corporate PPA agreements, transactional advisory regarding companies in the prosumer energy market, advisory for the sale of wind farms at an early stage (co-development), advisory for hydrogen installations and the supply of renewable energy to them, and strategic advisory for entering the electromobility segment.
Your future role will involve active participation in negotiations of green electricity contracts, e.g., cPPA (long-term, complex contracts), responsibility for selected streams in creating a green energy procurement portfolio strategy for large consumers, responsibility for selected streams in creating market entry and development strategies, e.g., energy storage, electromobility, supporting M&A processes, numerical analyses related to the sector, including feasibility studies, business plans (e.g., long-term electricity price forecasts in PL, business case profitability analysis). The work will mostly concern renewable sources but also energy storage, hydrogen, conventional energy, and electricity sales and trading, involving analytical work on diverse projects related to the sector.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• You have at least one year of experience in consulting, corporate finance, or the power sector.
• You want to develop your knowledge in the power sector.
• You have analytical skills that allow you to identify and solve problems.
• You are fluent in English and Polish.
• You have highly developed analytical and communication skills and are fully engaged in your tasks.
• Sector knowledge is welcome but not absolutely necessary.
