The Director Innovation will foster an environment of creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation within the university, developing and implementing strategies to promote cutting-edge research and its commercialization.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably at a university or a reputed organization with similar functions.
- Proven track record in fostering innovation, managing intellectual property, and driving successful commercialization initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of research, development, and commercialization processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for intellectual property management, technology transfer, and commercialization.
- Manage incubation centers, accelerators, and entrepreneurial programs.
- Enhance collaborations with industry, government, and other stakeholders.
- Advise senior management on innovation-related matters.
