Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Desired Candidate Profile
• The successful candidate must currently be working in an audit firm and will be responsible for planning audits, reviewing internal controls, conducting audit tests and preparing financial reports using U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Should have knowledge in conducting an audit in accordance with ISA.
• Some of the other duties auditor include putting together internal communications and status reports, documenting audit issues, writing audit reports and following up on outstanding tasks and audit issues.
• As entry level workers, junior auditors will be working under the direction of a senior level auditor learning essential skills such as teamwork and client relations
• Demonstrates thorough technical skills regarding applicable accounting and reporting standards in researching, completing and reviewing audit areas; working experience designing engagement procedures based on risk, materiality and discussions with the engagement team

Skills
Junior auditors should be strong in math and highly analytical, as this position deals with numbers, spreadsheets and complex figures on a daily basis. In addition, junior auditors must have excellent oral, interpersonal and writing skills, and work well in groups. Computer skills and familiarity with applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word are essential.

Duties
• Inspect cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and canceled checks to confirm records are accurate.
• Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
• Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
• Prepares audit plan by planning assigned segment.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Completes work analysis by reviewing documents, records, and procedures; recording observations; interviewing department staff; Prepares reports by identifying findings; making recommendations.

Qualifications :
• University Degree - Accounting, Economics or related area of Study.
• Junior auditor positions are entry-level roles, they can progress in their career and assume more senior roles
Professional Experience:
• 3 years’ experience of relevant experience in big 4 CA firm or ACCA Qualified
• Supervisory experience - Planning, prep and Execution of Audits
